EMERGING ARTISTS OF THE 2023-2024 SEASON:

Soprano, Mezzo, Tenor, Baritone, and Bass-Baritone voice types
Main Stage Roles: Mercédès, Le Remendado, Le Dancaïre, Frasquita
Emerging Artist Roles: Carmen, Don José, Escamillo, Micaela, Frasquita

EMERGING ARTISTS WILL BE FEATURED IN THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMMING FOR YOUNG AUDIENCES:

A reduced “mini main stage” presentation based on our upcoming production of Carmen on November 17, 2023
A touring children’s opera in Spring 2024
Possible other community outreach performances throughout the season

AUDITION REPERTOIRE FOR OWR EMERGING ARTISTS:

On aria/art song in English
One aria in French (if possible). Emerging Artist applicants who wish to be considered for the available roles and/or covers in Carmen must include an aria in French
At least one additional piece from your repertoire
