YOUNGSTOWN, OH (October 11, 2022): Opera Western Reserve has received a generous $1,000 donation from the Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation in support of the Opera Western Reserve Educational Outreach Program. OWR would like to thank the Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation for its foresight in supporting the future of arts and social service non-profit organizations in the Mahoning Valley.
OWR is a growing opera company proudly presenting operas of the highest quality using many regional artists as leading singers, orchestra members and directors. OWR is dedicated to educating the community on the many learning experiences created through opera, the preservation of opera as an interdisciplinary art form and the collaboration of art forms that opera demands. Through education outreach, area educators and students are invited to take a step behind the scenes and learn more about opera.
